Joseph J. Bell founded the law firm of Joseph J. Bell and Associates after ten years of private practice. Joe's legal experience has focused principally in the areas of labor and employment law, county and municipal law, civil rights, criminal law and tort law. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and holds a Masters in Labor Law from New York University School of Law. A former Congressional Staffer and elected Morris County Clerk, Joe has an exceptional knowledge of government. He has served or been advisor to almost a dozen New Jersey municipalities, the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Morris County Sheriff. Joe was appointed by the New Jersey State Senate President as a member of the New Jersey Driving While Intoxicated Tax Force and is a graduate of the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration Program with a degree in psycho-physical testing for drunk driving. Joe's professional associations include the American, New Jersey, and Morris County Bar Associations, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). Joe also heads the Section of Municipal Government of the Morris County Bar Association, is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), and has been appointed to the New Jersey Supreme Court Subcommittee on Employment Jury Charges. A Morris County resident and married to the former Linda Whelan, Joe is the father of four children.
